The latest satellite system - INMARSAT BGAN, was activated on 1st December 2005.
First BGAN terminals were introduced into the distribution in January 2006.
Falvit Everest Expedition 2006 - organized by Martyna Wojciechowska that set off in the third decade of March 2006 was equipped with one of the first thelephones which Marsat, introduced into Polish market.
NERA BGAN terminal received great recognition of the members of the expedition. It esured a reliable, fast transfer of pictures, films and voice recordings. The terminal made the expedition reports (much enriched with pictures and films) appear in the media almost live.
