The operating parameters of this service are compatible with Inmarsat R-BGAN (till 09 July 2005 Inmarsat R-BGAN standard ran through the Thuraya satellite). Transfer of Inmarsat R-BGAN standard to the latest generation satellite Inmarsta I-4 let activation of alike service signed with Thuraya logo.
In Thuraya DSL system we work by means of satellite modem very similar to Inmarsat R-BGAN modem – in appearance as well as in technical parameters.
